Problem

A truck-parts company needed a name and mark that work on a shelf and as an avatar.

Approach

I named it Parts & Mats and locked P+M into a geometric mat emblem.

Outcome

A brand that is easy to say, stamp, and tell apart from generic aftermarket.

Say what you sell, then make it ownable

The products are truck parts and mats. A poetic name would have been a liability on a shelf and in a search bar. I proposed Parts & Mats — blunt, balanced, impossible to mishear on a warehouse floor.

The emblem locks P and M into a geometric mat shape so the mark can live without the wordmark: avatars, stamps, woven labels. Colour is industrial rather than “automotive red”: green as the owner, white and graphite as the rest of the kit.

I led naming and identity. The system is built for production realities — print, embroidery, social — not only for a Behance grid.

What I designed

Name, P/M emblem, wordmark, and a three-colour industrial palette. The emblem is the brand in small sizes; the name does the work in wholesale and on boxes.
