Escape to Kas
Trip to Kas, Turkey. Summer 2022.
I've made a dreamy getaway to Kas, a hidden gem on Turkey's Turquoise Coast. In 2022 it was like a Mecca for digital nomads, so I really wanted to check it out. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the town's picturesque charm, with its narrow cobbled streets, ancient ruins, and inviting turquoise waters.
One of the highlights of my trip was a visit to Kaputas Beach, a breathtaking stretch of golden sand nestled between steep cliffs. The stunning turquoise sea was impossible to resist, and I spent hours basking in the sun and swimming in the gentle waves.
Another unforgettable experience was exploring the Letoon Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located nearby. This sacred place, dedicated to the goddess Leto, was an important religious center in Lycian times. The awe-inspiring ruins, including temples, a theater, and a nymphaeum, provided a fascinating insight into the region's ancient history.
